7 Kick-Ass Books about the Founding Mothers and their Daughters

While the Founding Fathers are frequently celebrated on the 4th of July, I would like to take a portion of the day to celebrate the Founding Mothers and their daughters. For the most part, American culture tie these women to the men they were married to or the daughters to. Gradually, however, society has started to ween off these misconceptions. Finally, these women are receiving their times in the sun through this diverse assortment of historical fiction and nonfiction books. Though, I'm sure Dolley Madison has always been like an American folk hero after the Burning of Washington in 1814.
